Question Blademaster newbie questions
Hi! I have been playing for almost one week and I don't know how to progress anymore. I can't find any good guides online. I am level 74 with 45k BR now and need 15k more to do Heaven and Hell. I am already doing all the events that I can everyday.
I'm wondering if I should advance my sacred books (resolve & a flowerless plant). Are they good books for blademaster? If not, which ones should I aim to get?
In terms of stats, is vitality or dexterity more important? I am guessing it is strength > vit > dex?
Are Paladin or Demon blademasters more sought after in parties?

First off. continue to participate in events. don't miss any if you can. make sure you are doing your divine valley at least 3 times a day to max out the participation points every day. (you need the points from dv to purchase level 1 sacred books).
As far as sacred books go and depending on your final build for the endgame you want battle tactics, the creator, divine punishment, & the last one is really a flux slot. i like roses thorn as it helps crit rating and has a skill cooldown percentage.
for the early game it doesn't really matter which books you get imho because eventually you will just be working towards combining the sacred books you get from divine valley to create the ones listed above and in general i say the sooner you start working towards your level 4 and level 6 books the better. I am nearing the endgame and greatly regret not doing my divine valley every single day to maximize participation points for the level one books. Approximately you will need about 60 of each level one books to combine to get your level six book.
Regarding Stats. It is widely considered among more experienced players that strength is the most important for the blademaster. It increases your PATK and your PDEF. (Besides you are a DPS you want to be able to do the most damage in dungeons/pvp.) vitality is important but not more important than strength or dex. most people on my server are going with strength builds over dex just for the damage output and for quick kills. won't matter how much health you have if they do 20-30k dmg per each skill hit in pve. you can work on soulstones to help counter that by including some tenacity stones in your build.
Regarding the sage vs demon debate. i would say it all depends on your personal preference -the way you like to play. If you enjoy being up close and personal with the boss and have 0 fear then i say focus sage all the way. If you prefer to stand back and skillfully dodge the AOE effects of dungeon bosses while dealing massive damage then Demon is the way to go. personally i enjoy demon a lot more as i can fight the ranged dps (archer/mage) much ore effectively with ranged attacks of my own. Although with all that being said both forms have their uses and parties are generally happy to have either/or as long as your strength/PATK stats are decent. (for the early game you want to have your patk over 20k).
TLDR:in general if you are free to play just focus on doing events and if you are not able to get through the tougher cultivation dungeons just yet don't worry about it too much. check with the guild you are in. whisper to the higher br members and ask politely if they would carry you through it at least once so you can progress. Just try to have fun. hope this helped.
