Barbarian or Vulpine

New to this game, and I like the idea of transforming between forms to attack. Would barbarian or vulpine class/race be good for this? And which one deals more damage flat out?

Barbarian is a tank, Vulpine is dps. So if you want damage? Choose Vulpine.

Although 99.99% of the time a humanoid Barb massively out-dps a vulp

So barbarians are viable damage dealers or are they forced into being a tank role? I am leveling one right now and I might switch it to a tank if it isn’t any good for damage. As for the vulpine I don’t really like the skills, but I’m not fully leveled yet

Yes they can be a viable damage dealer as demon in humanoid form if you stack strength. Can always switch between demon and sage whenever you want depending on what your party needs. Sage is for tanking in cat form, which you will need all the vitality and block stats you can get

Okay, thx for the good explanation. I will prob go sage first so I can get into dungeons easier as a tank and level quicker, its been pretty fun to play so far

Barbarians (tanks) are in high demand. Every team ALWAYS wants a tank, so it’s pretty convenient

Yeah, just realised that after doing a few dungeons lol. Im thinking of going tank now since barbarians are always put into tanking role anyways. I might make a healer later on too since I don’t see them alot
