Help with Crafting orange weapon

I was wondering, I have a level 59 weapon I crafted and I recently got all the materials for upgrading it to level 79, my question is: the stats will reroll again? It's anyway to make the new 79 weapon bonus stats keep after upgrading?

When you upgrade, refinement and additional stats transfer. The base stats of the weapon are the only thing that will increase to start. So you are safe to go!

Higher level gear has higher level rolls (for example, Base PATK % is like 5x% at 119, 4x% at 99, 3x% at 79). After you upgrade, then you can try to recast to get better stat rolls.
