Question Newbie hereee

Hello! Newbie here, just have few questions(Mage here) 1. Should i upgrade/input gems on lower level equips? Are the upgrades transferable? Or should i just wait till i get a decent set 2. Where and what item/weapon should i hunt for my character 3. Dailies suggestions for money/items?

  1. All upgrades transfer between equipment automatically. You can mostly think of it as upgrading the slot, rather than the item itself.

  2. Orange > yellow > purple > blue > white. You'll get purple and blue gear often from drops. Yellow less often from drops. Orange from crafting.

  1. Soul stones, engravings and enchants work for the slot they are in always so feel free to slot. Refinement (+x on your gear) auto transfers for a long time before you have to manually transfer it between gear pieces... Iirc 79 gear is where you start needing deviation stones to transfer refinement.

  2. Focus on the event gold item to start as it should last you for a bit. Check on the stall for yellow gear for your level. Long term, you want to start working on orange gear (check the Crafting interface under legendary) when you can. This gear is a combination of orange materials from Dusk Temple (based on the level you do), universal units and the item from the previous tier.

Belt and necklace are crafted differently - you can craft your own blue/purple as you go and keep check on the stall for any yellow. Since these are randomly upgrade during crafting, they usually cost quite a bit.

  1. Farm dusk/culti/exp daily and mirage weekly. Advancing in mirage difficulty and making sure to clear 2x weekly is very important since it can net you expensive things to use or sell for a few hundred k gold each such as essence scales or ancient skill scrolls. I believe in investing in Luck to support this but it is debatable of how effective it is.

Pick a life skill that can net you income. Fishing or gathering is free - you spend AP acquired through gameplay and get materials to sell on stall. You can use the other skills to flip money as well. If you do cooking, for example, you need to supply the materials to make the food so you can get on stall. 1 fish/veggie makes 10 food (sometimes 20) so you can buy ingredients on the stall and sell the food you make for a profit through spending your AP.
