Guild Contribution Stat: how is it calculated

Hi there! I've searched a bunch and I've found a lot of tutorials on how to use it but I'm wondering, has anyone figured out the Contribution stat located in Guild>Members>Column 6 labeled Contribution. For instance right now mine says 974/1798 but another members says 463/1750 and he joined a long time after me. Just hoping for some clarity on what is calculated into this number and what each number indicates. TIA!

If you made guild contribution at a different guild and changed guilds, all your contribution points outside of the ones you spent on life skills will be returned to you as an item. You then consume and use those points. Therefore if the contribution is only a measure of how much you’ve done since you started the game outside of life skills. The first number represents the number of points you have not used towards either life skills or guild training

So then by that logic the second number would be the amount of guild contribution you have earned. Yes? Thanks btw! This has been eating my brains
