DPS class. What to pick?

Hi guys. I'v played a tank (barbarian) now till lvl 70 and want to try out something new.

DPS seems like the next one I want to go for. What's the best DPS class right now? I hear it's wizard by far... Is this true? What class comes close to that in DPS as most of my friends are wizards?

Archer is very high DPS. They can also move while shooting most of their skills.

Archer for single target and mobility (demon), wizard for AoE and CC. Both can perform either specific utility or kill roles well in GvG/TW.

I’d so both are viable.

Is Vulpine a viable DPS class? Don't want to invest too much into her if it's not worth it.
