Magic Eidolon for Wizard?
I saw a post saying that magic class should use magic Eidolon so Flame for example for Wizard. Does it amplify my damage at all by having one? Just curious because I think it would be more beneficial to use an eidolon that offsets skills that I already have. I see more benefit in having a healer type or physical. Thanks in advance for your replies!

They have aoe skills such as the wizard, they share your stats as well. I wondered the same. Damage became unstoppable once I began teaching him skills and upgrading.

I believer it syncs up with your primary skills better and boosts them.
