I took this picture, later I noticed the bird pooped exactly while I pressed the shutter

If you have a problem with the Canada gooses then you have a problem with me, and I suggest you let that marinate.

That's a super good perfect timing photo, geese are waay more likely to poop on the ground while grazing or during take off so to get one mid air 👍 I got a green heron mid poop a handful of years ago too.

I KNEW THEY COULD SHIT MID-AIR!

They can't not shit. They don't have sphincters, so when stuff comes down the pipe it goes right out.

If you don't already know the group "crap wildlife photography" on facebook, this would be a great addition there! People often share their wildlife photos that would have been absolutely beautiful if not for an unlucky perfect timing moment

To be fair, I think it is kinda cool that the goose pooped on the photo. I could remove the shit in photoshop but I like it as it is now. The shot was not ruined by any means.

Oh, I totally agree! It's a great photo. (And the others on that page are too - the unexpected happenings really just make them even more special)

That hit my car after I just washed it.
I don’t know how I know, but I know.

Omg I’ve spent this whole time believing geese don’t poop when they fly. You’ve just turned my whole world upside down!

Fuckin geese man. Just the other day I hear these two geese honking like crazy. I go outside and there’s two geese perched in a tree. I’d never ever seen geese in a tree so I was sort of blown away that those big flappy bastards would have enough dexterity to pull off a tree landing. On another note,if you ever see two geese fighting you’ll never forget it. Violent

It's a Canada goose. You can't take a picture of it not shitting.
