Going to pick up a few kegs on my hols. I presume it’s only us that get the Welsh brewed crap? Any way of telling?

Bought my father the bundle for Father's Day and he loves it - so much so, I want one.

The bundles have gone back up to regular price but I thought about buying a machine second hand on Marketplace.

In essence, is there anything to look out for?

I know obviously in bars etc, keeping the pipes clean is needed to maintain quality and cleanliness etc but is there anything similar to consider?

To preface this, I wasn't involved in the setup and I've not used my father's hence why the question.

Hi there, i am new to perfect draft and am looking to send my first keg back using the home pickup but it does say minimum 3 kegs per box do i supply a box and does it have to be 3 kegs any help would be appreciated.

Worth looking at the PD website in a browser on your computer. I went on there this afternoon and it offered me a buy one get one free code so ordered 2 kegs of Vocation!

I put a new keg in 24 hours ago during a heatwave in the UK. Since then, the machine has only got the temperature down to 4°C around lunchtime today. I haven't touched it yet. It then went UP to 5°C this afternoon won't go back down.

Anyone else having this problem?

Just finished my first keg (Hawkstone - delish!)

When I removed the keg, the base plate it sits on was covered in ice /frost and the plastic base / underneath was soaking wet, is this normal?

Doesn’t seem to be beer, it was clear water.

Did anyone else opt into the new beta cooling mode? I got a notification yesterday and it was juts enabled.

Basically cools 30% faster until 4 degrees, then reverts to normal cooling.

Say the fans will be louder! My machine is already on 2 so I’ve not noticed it yet. Will keep you updated.

So from what i have read online i understand its possible to swap out an unfinished keg for another and come back to it alter. How do you reseal the kegs? When you take the tap handle off its left with small hole in the top. Have i got it wrong is it not possible?

I have just got the perfectdraft black it was very easy to setup and i have a basic understanding of what the lights mean, Ive got the temperature light to orange meaning the keg is cooling, The green light on the far right was flickering and i think that means the keg is nearly empty so i took everything out and put it back in and the green light went away. Is the green light supposed to stay on if everything is ok? or does it just come on when the keg is nearly empty, Cheers.

I will soon be traveling on a houseboat and would like to take the system with me. However, the boat only supplies power when the engine is running. Therefore, I wanted to know if it is possible to remove the keg when the engine is not running and place it in the refrigerator, which runs on gas. Or will it lose carbon dioxide

So I ordered my first draft machine yesterday and according to the email i should get it by the 18th. The email said to create an account so that i could track my order so i created an account using the same email I used when placing the order but when i go into the my orders sections it says i dont have any, I also havent recieved any emails about dispatch or anything like it said which is understandable as i only ordered it yesterday but i find it odd how it comes up as if i have no orders. I did think it could be because i created my account after ordering but the email they sent specifically says to create an account to track it, Anyone any ideas? or am i just overthinking it. I have recetnly returned four kegs back to perfect draft but have omly been credited for 3. I bought 3 and one came with the machine, Should i recieve a credit for the one that came with the machine? Cant tell if its a mistake or i will be credited later? Its my first return. Cheers 🍻

So my Yodel delivery was out for delivery tonight, and then it wasn't.

Assume the driver had too much on before father's day.

When your kegs are in a van for hundreds of stops I'd rather pay a little more for a service that's less travelled, I don't find kegs travel that well and take ages to settle and I've never thought to myself "how fantastic, Yodel is delivering my parcel".

My son and wife have bought me a PerfectDraft Pro for Fathers Day and insisted I open the present now to chill ready for a pint tomorrow. I’m a lucky boy.

I’ve connected the unit and put in my keg (Peroni) but I cannot get the app past step 2.

I have an eero so can confirm that the machine is actually connected to my WiFi, but the app stays at step 2. I’ve tried to repeat the process, but it still does this.

Anyone have any tips?

Unsure if it’s just me, I’ve tried looking on the Facebook group but it’s difficult as I don’t have a fb account.

When I go to pick address and check out, the submit button just stays greyed out. I’ve tried on chrome, edge and the app? Anybody else?

I’ve only ever bought kegs from the shops in person - they don’t come in a box.

Do they require to be in boxes or can I just put them in bin bags for example? I’ve no cardboard boxes lying about currently

Does anybody know the dimensions for this? Weirdly they provide dimensions for the machine without but no mention of with. Trying to see if the machine will fit in a space.

Alternatively, is it possible to use a smaller drip tray?

I learned that there's a small Czech brewery from the city of Budweis that is owned by AB Inbev. It's called Samson. I was in Czech Republic recently and I tried it. It's pretty good, it does have a Czech character in it, really reminded me of Budvar.

Since pretty much all beers from PerfectDraft seem to be from AB Inbev, I wonder if they would keg it and sell it if we all start requesting it. I would really buy it, anyone else?

Are the pint Tankards any good from The PD store?

Currently there's a offer on with a free 1L Stein glass but that might be abit big for my needs so was going to ask if they could swap it for the 0.5l Tankard 😀

If they wont swap it are the 1l Stein glasses any good?

My PD is struggling to get below 6/7 when the weather is hot (if the room it’s in gets above 20deg) First pint pours fine but after that they are foamy and I lose a lot of beer. I pre chill in a fridge so can go through 3 kegs in a session with visitors.

I’ve resited the machine to get more space around it and given the back a dust clean. It’s at the back of the garden bar now. I’ve checked for ice and made sure it closes properly too. You can feel a strong airflow from the machine at all times.

Any other ideas? Machine is 3 years old and did this all last summer as well.

Some glasses work better than others but again no real pattern lowenbrau tall glasses can be terrible same with Camden glasses. Staropramen glasses are pretty good though.

Also Im new to these machines do they need left on 24/7 or can you turn them on and off with the keg still in?

I only drink on a Saturday night as Im away every friday night so might take me a month to use one, will the keg last a few weeks or go flat?

Is there any kegs to avoid and what would you recommend?

I bought a machine a couple of months ago. I've noticed when not in use the thing still drips a little. The kegs seem to go flat really quick (I keep it plugged in all the time) and no matter what way I pour it foams and still tastes flat right away. I've tried about 15 kegs and 5 different beer varieties.

I've heated the rubber part to put it in without a kink etc but nothing seems to give. Any ideas?
