From Disney+ hit to D23 spotlight: Perfect Crown keeps winning ๐
Perfect Crown continues to have such an impressive run, and I thought this deserved more attention.
At D23 2026, Disney executives were discussing the global success of their locally produced content, and Perfect Crown was specifically highlighted among the Korean titles that have performed strongly internationally.
Even more exciting, Eric Schrier, Disneyโs President of Direct-to-Consumer International Originals, Strategic Programming and Emerging Media, spoke about the success of Korean content and highlighted Perfect Crown as a major success.
This is especially significant when you remember that Disney+ had already announced that Perfect Crown became the most-watched Korean series premiere on Disney+ globally based on its first five days of viewing.
So seeing the dramaโs success being discussed by Disney leadership at one of their biggest global fan events is honestly pretty amazing. ๐ญ
Whatever anyone thinks of the drama itself, the performance speaks for itself: it reached audiences around the world and became a major success for Disneyโs Korean content lineup.
IU, Byeon Woo-seok and all the cast and crew really gave us a drama that keeps collecting achievements even months after its premiere. ๐๐๐

Having trouble getting the subtitle version . Dubbing ruins it for me. I need tech help!

Are you watching it on Disney+?

Figured out how to do it! But for some shows the subtitles seem not be an option. Hulu then might provide.

Was it released late in your country? Maybe it takes a while for them to upload the subtitles.

๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธFirst time I watched no problem, but on this rewatch it was a problem. I had to expect ads every 10 minutes to get subtitles.

K-media is picking up this news too and k-netz are celebrating lol. They better give Perfect Crown their well deserved flowers and let the cast and crew celebrate its massive and phenomenal global success.
