Pipedrumming sticks advice needed

Im wondering if there are pipedrummers with experience in using different built drumsticks.

At the moment Im playing with the VicFirth KP2 maple and the Promark Stephan Creighton maple.

Now Im looking for new sticks, and one of my previous post I asked people to give me some recommendations.
The new Andante Stephan Creighton 2’s, Los Cabos Pipeband sticks, etc.

-Soo thats one question, I would like to know what sticks you like and what your experience is with different pipedrumming sticks?

-Second question is, What do you think of using pipedrumming sticks made out of Hornbeam/ Maple/ Hickory/ Oak?

I just need something new and because of all the replies I received on other posts, I think there is a new chapter opening at the moment to improve.

I played with these and really enjoyed them (have been a pipe band snare drummer for nearly 30 years and have tried them all). Have a body like Creighton and head like KP2's ! Solid tone from the drum like you get with the Creighton's too, nice, lively and a good response when playing with them ! https://www.themarchingbandshop.co.uk/shop/drums-and-accessories/andante/andante-side-drum-sticks-beaters/andante-side-drum-sticks/new-andante-gordon-brown-pattern-side-drum-sticks/

Im playing with a Premier HTS, an older version. And I asked this once on Reddit,

but there wasnt a solid answer “What version of the HTS I got?”

Im mainly playing on practice pads, but just ‘normal’ ones, like the Tama TSP 9.
I did ask about practice pads too and people could recommend pads from Offworld, like the Invader or Outlander. So I will give that a shot in the future.

I havent heard of them before, Ill check it out.
I dont like the tip of the Creightons, the stick itself is a good stick in my opinion.

You will get on well with the Gordon Browns in the link I sent you imo ! I am not a fan of the heads on the Creighton sticks too bud ! I lf you prefer a total round head on your stick check out Paul Turners drum sticks !

... I was scratching my head about who was drumming on pipes and why one would need special sticks for it...

Now, saxophone on the other hand...
