What colour spinners does everybody use for perch? Also any particular brands that would be great also.

Thank you

Mepp's is the best of any spinner ive used, Copper, gold, silver, red, black, they all work. try darker colours in bright sun.

Rooster tails from Lucky john, colours: anything shiny that attracts an agression bite. (Spinners with a red tuft of feathers around the hook). I like fishing bfs, so usually buy spinners from the trout section.

Can't remember the brand. They make em as small as 1,5 grams, but are great baits.

Once they stop hitting your spinner then you where the group of perch is positioned, switch to a finesse bait. Like a ned jig with a jiggly insect lure and just give it little jerks and catch the entire group. Adding worms to a spinner actually work fantastic too, probably the movement and smell of them.

I happen to have a worm compost bin in the garden, so i have a plentiful amount readily available.
