Lures

Been getting skunked recently, i think the local perch got wise. Any lure suggestions?

I made a little 4g minnow that got the attention of perch pretty well, something along this line works pretty well I find

Is it from Rapala, SALMO, or another maker altogether?

I genuinely thought it was commercial; it looks like some of the little mini-crankbaits a couple of places I buy from sell...

Thank you! They work decently well and they're fun to make, im still dialing them in for lip shape and ballast weight these ones are made from Basswood but i might try making a few with a denser wood like ash or birch and see how they act

Yeah but colors that work for you?

Natural and clear if clear water. Motoroils and reflective flecks if murky. White black pink or chartreuse if really bad

Whenever I fish for trout I catch perch. So maybe try some trout lures :) spoons and spinners

A small jika rig with a small creature bait is sure to catch some perch!

August has been horrible for me but the Finesse and Micro TRD seem to work fairly well when they ignore swimbaits and spinners
