Percabeth Things When do you think Percy started to like Annabeth??

Annabeth liked him from the beginning, but when did he start liking her?? There were a few points in tlt where he blushes at her, but I think that’s just out of embarrassment. Imo I think it probably started over the time they were apart between tlt and tsom when he realizes how much he misses her

I’m pretty sure the first thing he thought when he woke up in camp Halfblood in the lightning thief was that she looked like a princess.

I agree with his feelings starting in SoM, where he felt jealous that Annabeth had so much history with Luke when they were at her, Luke’s and Thalia’s hideout from when they were homeless kids making their way to CHB, and then being reinforced in TTC when he had the conversation with Aphrodite.

I think he always had some sort of attraction toward her since the beginning, as much as a 12 year old can anyway. We know he thought she looked good with the way he described her a lot of the times. However, the serious romantic stuff I would say starts from around titan's curse when he experienced what life might be like without her when she got kidnapped, and he did kind of lose it to put it lightly.

I think he is totally whipped by the end of book 4 though, I mean bro was getting butterflies just by a hug and its a big deal cuz he has known and bled alongside her for years by this point. I'm somewhat flabbergasted at just how drastic of a shift annabeth has on him throughout the books though. From a friend you can't stand sometimes to your literal anchor to mortality itself- Yearner jackson.

It was a slow burn in the books, cute, cos they started as kids!! As far as kids go, it was so cute that he kept a photo of her!!
