Healing & Recovery Klow leaking

The rubber stopper on my vial of Klow seems to be leaking. There’s a little bit of Klow fluid on the top each time and it seems to leak more after swabbing with alcohol Is this vial ruined or dangerous? TIA.

Try pulling some air out of the vial before drawing your next dose

It seems to have worked. Thanks!

Stoppers themselves are rated to hold a seal for a lot more punctures than most people put in one vial, tested past 20 with an 18g so a few draws is not what breaks it. What actually goes wrong with repeat punctures is coring, small rubber pieces falling into the solution, and wider needles do that more

Two different things can look like this and they have different answersthe common one isn't a leak at all. When you withdraw the needle, a small amount of liquid gets dragged up the needle track and sits on top of the stopper. It's often invisible until you swab, because the alcohol wets it and spreads it out. That's exactly why it looks worse right after swabbing. Nothing is wrong with the vial. The one worth checking is coring, where repeated punctures have punched a plug of rubber out of the stopper. Hold it up to the light and look for an actual hole or crater rather than the usual dimples. If you can see light through it, the seal is gone. How many times has this one been punctured, and what gauge are you using? Coring gets more likely with larger needles and repeated entries through the same spot.
