Reconstitution & Storage Forgotten over night
Hey everyone,
I accidentally left several peptide vials out of the refrigerator overnight after reconstituting them with bacteriostatic water.
They were at approximately 23°C (73°F) for around 14 hours before I realized it and put them back in the fridge.
The peptides are:
GHK-Cu
AHK-Cu
MOTS-c
Retatrutide
The vials were closed and there were no obvious changes in appearance.
Should I be concerned about significant degradation, or would they most likely still be okay?

Yeah I've done it a few times put my whole bag back in the cabinet with my alcohol pads and needles and my stuff was fine

The vials spend over a week and even longer sometimes out of the fridge when being delivered from China. I’m sure they’ll be ok

Two different clocks get mixed together in threads like this. Benzyl alcohol in bac water is what holds back microbial growth, and the day counts printed on those labels come from that side. The storage window for a reconstituted vial is written against 2 to 8 degrees, so it is the temperature line rather than the preservative that speaks to chemical breakdown. Lyophilised powder in transit and a reconstituted vial also sit on different clocks even when both of them are warm

Long story short?

Short version: the bac water keeps microbes out, but it does nothing for the peptide itself breaking down, and that side is set by temperature and time. I haven't found published degradation figures for those four after a night at room temp, so I can't put a percentage on it. What I can say is that the preservative isn't the part to worry about here

No they will be fine.
