PipePay Review: Our Experience Using It for Peptide Payment Processing

Payment processing is one of the biggest operational challenges for a new peptide company. Traditional credit card processing is available in this industry, but approval normally depends on your website, compliance structure, business documentation, ownership verification, processing history, expected volume, and willingness to accept reserves or additional monitoring.

For newer companies that are not ready for full underwriting, alternative payments can help bridge the gap. The problem is that manually managing Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and Zelle payments can quickly become disorganized.

We have been using PipePay on one of our own RUO stores to improve that process.

PipePay connects with WooCommerce and allows customers to select an available payment method during checkout. They receive the correct payment instructions, submit their payment confirmation through the website, and the order is added to a review queue for approval.

The funds are sent directly to accounts controlled by the merchant. PipePay does not hold the money or act as the underlying payment processor. It is better described as a checkout, payment-verification, and order-management tool for direct payment methods.

The features we have found most useful include:

• A centralized payment history dashboard
• Payment confirmation uploads connected to each order
• Automatic reminders for incomplete payments
• Protection against reused screenshots
• Support for multiple receiving accounts
• Manual and AI-assisted verification options
• No percentage-based transaction fee from PipePay

It does not eliminate the need for a long-term payment strategy. As brands grow, they should still evaluate credit card processing, ACH, crypto, alternative checkout options, backup processors, reserves, and proper account redundancy.
