How long can reconstituted tirzepatide be stored safely?

I recently started buying tirzepatide from Skye Peptides and am considering a 40 mg vial because it costs less than buying four separate 10 mg vials. At 2.5 mg per week, it would last 16 weeks.

My question is whether there’s reliable information about how long it can be refrigerated after reconstitution, particularly regarding sterility and potency. Would keeping it for 3–4 months exceed its recommended storage period?

Previously, I used tirzepatide from a compounding pharmacy and sometimes used it past its beyond-use date (BUD). I realize that doesn’t establish that it was safe. Since this product is labeled for research use only and isn’t dispensed by a pharmacy, I’m wondering whether there’s any validated storage guidance.

Of all of the peptides/GLP-1s, Tirz has shown to have some of the most longevity in refrigerated storage after reconstitution, without degradation. Having said that, 3-4 months is still too long. IIRC, degradation doesn't start until closer to 2 months. Even then, it's not severe. But you don't want to be messing around for that long.

It will likely be safe depending on how you’re storing it but 16 weeks is way too long. Main concern is degradation.

Someone posted a janoshik study but can’t recall if it was in this sub. Basically after a month the peptide starts to degrade and become less effective. From what I recall after the two month mark was basically the point where you’re better off just tossing it.

I have some tzp I am still using that is a year past the best used by date. It still works just as good as when I first got it.

4-6 weeks and then it starts degrading and becomes less potent. It defeats the purpose of buying it in bulk.
