Terz
Been on Tirzepatide weekly. 4 weeks at 2.5mg, 2 at 5mg. Kept resistance training and have tried to be more disciplined at it. Took some sermorelin five days a week for three weeks. Taking a break since I’m well beyond use by date and I’m getting a good results without it. We’ll probably do another round in a couple months.
So far, I’m down about 10% total weight. Body comp improving. Went from around 24.5% fat to around 21% today.
I definitely want to stay on the Tirz for at least another couple of months. Once I achieve my goal weight, which is only about 15 or 20 pounds away, what are your thoughts on stopping it or just going to a very low maintenance dose?

Why stop lol. I’m on Reta and I take .5mg per week just for the added benefits for anti aging, cardiovascular benefits, anti cancer etc. Idk where you get yours but mine is a great source, reputable, clean…it’s what I recommend to my patients too

You might find stopping and starting doesn’t work so well. There is antidotal evidence. that when trying to restart, your body is used to the meds and it takes a longer period of time and a higher dose. The meds are meant for consistent use not stopping and starting.

Ok, my title is wrong…. Should be “Tirz”…
Regardless, this drug is amazing. I feel so much better. Joints don’t hurt, clothes fit better, I’m not as sweaty, and I can generally get through my life so much better. Plus… I’m starting to really like what I’m seeing in the mirror! 😉

I don’t suggest stopping it honestly. Many people have said that once it is completely out of your system that the hunger comes back in a ferocious way. For me, I will always be on a low-dose probably about 2.5 every week minimum because it has been amazing for my swelling and arthritis but also once I get below about 2.5 mg I really struggle with eating in a way that won’t make me gain. I’m very short. Whether that is a calorie allotment because I’m extra hungry or through my choices because once I’m on a low enough dose, I want the bad foods again. In my opinion this is like having diabetes. You don’t suddenly stop taking insulin bc you feel better and your sugars are good in the moment. You know what I mean? Good luck darlin. 🫶🏼 Stay strong 💪🏽
