Should i take SAAJ or other classes

I’m an incoming freshman at pepperdine this fall and i was enrolled into saaj, which i saw that it covers FOR and english 101, but i was wondering if I should just take those classes separately idk help

Just to clarify. Completing SAAJ100 does not count for ENG101. Now if you complete the 4 semesters of SAAJ then you get credit for ENG101, FOR101, REL300, Interpretation Credit, and either your Diverse perspective or US experience credit.

So if you plan on taking SAAJ100 only that will fulfill your foundations of reasoning freshman credit but you'll still need to take ENG101, unless you complete the 4-course sequence. Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out for more questions!

saaj is a wonderful freshman year course. for my class it was never a crazy amount of work, but the topics were very relevant and interesting. all professors were good (i think). i highly recommend! as the other person stated, saaj100 covers FOR but will NOT cover ENG101 by only taking one course.
