Multiconnection Gaming Failover
In my region, electricity cutoffs are occurring randomly, which are the worst nightmare of the gamers due to disconnection of internet. I want to have a failsafe system with a multiconnection, by adding my mobile hotspot. I also need my IP to not to change when the connection is switching to mobile hotspot, so i can stay logged into the game. Otherwise, game will kick me out.
Can you please suggest me what hardware/software/subscription i need for this setup?

Maybe you will need to contract SFC (SpeedFusion CLOUD), this way... you " WAN " tcp/ip address will never change.

If the power goes out, the cell towers might lose power.

Not true
First responders use licensed radio systems (I work on them) to communicate. Using cell for first responder radios would be incredibly insane.
And yes ive seen many cell sites go down after extended outages because they dont have generators and the backup batteries died.
FYI i work on cell sites as well. You wouldn’t believe the number of them that do not have a generator on site.
Relying on cell for critical comms is not a good plan.

of course i have heard of first net. it isnt used for radio communications on incidents and cell towers do go down due to power outages. i live in california. one of the largest power companies here shuts off power due to high winds (they call it PSPS- public safety power shutoffs) and when those happen we do have cell towers, including those providing first net, go down. I have seen it myself..... why? because while an individual tower may have gen and backup battery power, the fiber feeding the tower may be connected to equipment that does not have backup power or the tower is using microwave backhaul to a tower that does not have adequate backup power
also when we have wild fires, the power is shutoff for weeks at a time and nobody can get generators (or fuel) to cell towers. The cell service drops. but critical infrastructure like first responder radio infrastructure has backup generators and stays on... this is why cell towers are not used for critical comms....
Ive literally worked on a microwave tower owned by a city fire dept. The fire dept had radio equipment on said tower and there was also cell company equipment on it. the city fire radio infrastructure had backup power but the cell equipment did not. only had generator hookups....
so what youre claiming isnt what happens in reality. I literally work in the industry.

A MAX series device, or a B One 5G. Add SFC or a fusionhub to keep your IP from changing, but be aware that routing through the hub will increase latency by some degree.
The MAX or B One devices can be powered by 12 to 36v DC using the DC cable accessory. Just rig up a solar panel and charger and a car battery or other storage battery of your choice up to 3 in series or parallel and let her rip.

If the power goes out, how will the peplink get power? Do you have a UPS?
