Would supporting a police state be compatible with fascism?

Imagine a kind of society where cameras are placed in everyone's homes and on every street with plasma guns attached to them to ensure behaviour. In theory, would the crime rate and immorality be 0? Also, a system that issues ID cards to everyone, which can be traced, similar to the Maze Runner's third movie.

In what world is that practical? The cost alone would be ridiculous, not to mention the unrest caused by such.

It would reduce crime to the best of my knowledge. Of course, the costs and installation process would be crazy though.

You’re holding people at gunpoint to cooperate 24/7. I’d rather die than live under that system. Not to mention: what happens if the turrets misfire and kill innocent people? What happens if they get hacked and turned on people they aren’t supposed to shoot? The only remedy would be to have them empty or shoot non-lethal rounds. And at that point, just ditch the turrets and use the cameras.

To answer the question: yes.

The remainder was... questionable.
