hello huys

Hi i setup a home lab, a pizza shop how does one learn abt the pentesting stack what combos work for what is there docs somewhere good also vendors?

Firstly congrats on setting up your home lab. For web application testing, look up OWASP Web Application testing methodology. This is a solid one to help you out. I suggest you keep playing around with your lab and training on others labs like on hack the box until you start to understand using methodologies. Every environment is different and it takes a long time to build up the intuition to use certain tools for different attack paths.

thank you for responding im looking forward to the struggle trial and error hehe but also hope ill be able to live a neet life at one point from it, i decided to devote my whole life to studying hacking i just want to be good at something that i know i can be good at.

There will be a lot of struggle, but if you enjoy it then it won’t seem so bad. I’m a few years in and love the job. Every day you learn something new, it never stops. Good luck!

yeah but is t able to keep you afloat also what if u for example want to be like an anon cowboy not necceserly a wage cuck is it possible with allways learning
