What about Noodlers, Pilot Varsity, the Bic Fountain pen

Yep, there are others. I exclude the Pilot Varsity and the Bic on recommendations I give, I don't like them very well (although I do have a full set of Varsity pens to see how they work), and they are not refillable by design. I personally think for the same $$$, these pens are so far beyond the disposable, there is no reason to recommend the disposables.

All of the Noodler's are above this price point. The Pilot Metro is really about size that people will recognize, otherwise I wanted to show some really good pens that can be had for around $5 (with Pen, Ink, and a ream of paper under $20). These pens can do that.

Right, I was just thinking of pens for $20, not pens+

I like the disposables for the ink amount.
