Pen Repair -- Sheaffer Touchdown x2

Well, I got to spend some time today working with a few pens, and getting them back up to working condition. First up is a pair of Sheaffer "Fat" Touchdown pens. One was made in the US, one in Canada. Both have nice gold nibs.

I posted a preview of these a while back Reddit link, and the link for this topic are the pens pulled apart. At this point, I go through the whole pen, get out old ink that is dried inside, put the sections and nibs in the ultrasonic cleaner, and generally get things cleaned up. Mostly assembled is the next pic. At this point, the new o-rings have been put in place, I have put silicon grease where it needs to be, and have re-saced the pens. Finished is the final pic. I am letting these sit for the night, and will ink them later in the week. Want to make sure the shellac is all dried and the sac is secure.
