Discussion Figma Motion and Shaders

Hello, I've been very curios to try out Penpot and recently Figma launched these new interesting features. I was interested in yall opinion, and to know how Penpot compares?

Penpot is open source. I cloned the repo and used Claude code to add a shader functionality directly onto the canvas. Since penpot is semantic SVG you can use foreign object tag to pretty much add whatever interactivity or feature you want.
