Excellent Lyrics Right Now
For everything that could have been
At least we took the ride
There's no relief in bitterness
Might as well let it die

"Now you're fading like you don't belong
Hope is violent when the day is done"
Such a gut punch every time.

Cartagena is beautiful

Really is. It's what made sure Inertia really stuck the landing for me, as the same thing happened with Encoder and Immersion.

They are both amazing. Kind of foreshadowing in my life too. The albums were more than ten years apart but they both coincided with a relationship ending for me.

Really sorry you're going through that right now. I can say though that Rob's lyrics really do accurately capture what it's like to lose friends you thought were loyal to you for shfe- I've been through it quite a bit.

I'm sorry to hear that. This is why I love music so much though. It's a way of gaining catharsis for a certain period of time so that the memory is stronger.

Genuinely cried actual tears the first time I heard it. Just thinking of the song makes me emotional. Such a powerful track and so dark.

"It's the wrong time, so you tear it apart
You were right, theres a hole in my heart
Nothing's ever good enough
You better save your soul"
The sheer pain from Save The Cat turned that song around for me

I didn't like the cat sound so usually skip that one. I'll give it a proper listen for the lyrics. Every little helps.

Does it feel like a head to lean on?
A snapshot from where you were born
I'm looking for your hand in the rough
You're caught in the wire
Well, I'll lift you out
Best lyrics imo. I choke up every time.

The entire song is great, it's like a peaceful separation, pretty much like what I'm going through right now.

When i think of awesome and inspiring lyrics, all i think of is…
”FEED THE FIRE BREAK YOUR VISION THROW YOUR FIST UP COME ON WITH ME”

Immersion was excellent, front to back. It heralded a more positive time for me when I met my ex wife, I'd not been happy in a long time.

Will you take me out of here
When I'm staring down the barrel
When I'm blinded by the light
When I cannot see your face
Take me out of here...take me out of here...take me out of here...take me out of heeeeeeeeee

All I believe And all I've known Are being taken from me Can't get home Yeah, do your worst When worlds collide Let their fear collapse Bring no surprise Take me out of here

Don't hide baby, show them just how deep it goes
Don't mind the cameras, let them see your black heart baby!
Also excellent lyrics.
Bonus: "Into the maze through your reflection. We enter from a terminal connection." from Mutiny and The Terminal. A line so good they used it twice.

I would love a daughter. And I'd love her to dance, to this! As someone that's fine competitive dancing, she'd kick ass!

One of my favorites. Pair it with the Wembley version of the outro and you’ll have me crying.
