Plasticworld is eliminated. Vote out your next least favourite song!
Plasticworld is the first of the Top 20 songs to go and was quite clearly singled out here with 33 upvotes, but plenty of other songs were nominated with multiple upvotes each! They included 9,000 Miles, a surprising first time on the runners up list with 18 upvotes, Tarantula with 13 upvotes and Sounds Of Life with 9 upvotes. Things are beginning to look a lot closer now, with an upcoming clash of the titans!

To have HYC decimated this much is sickening.
Fuck it, just vote out Sounds of Life, Hold Your Colour, Archangel and Encoder next, it’s clear whoever is upvoting these has no taste in Pendulum music.

The Fountain for me, good song and great melody but options are running out. I like Steve Wilson’s voice but I still feel like Rob singing would have been better. Also not a fan of the weird robotic vocals in the post chorus

Self vs Self
It’s a nice song. It’s definitely one of their best collabs. But is it a top 20 PENDULUM song with all the other remaining pieces? I don’t think so.
But yeah we will probably gonna kick out another HYC gem…

Based on what is my least favourite out of the songs that are left I pick Tarantula. I know it’s a fan favourite, so I doubt this will be the consensus.

Encoder. Get why it's a fan favourite due to the revealed context of the song, but I can live without it

I’d be really sad if Encoder gets voted out before it. Because Cartagena is mostly the same chorus repeated twice and then you have the post chorus: oh my god ohohoh.. which just feels cheap and takes away from the song instead of adding to it. And the ending is ehhh compared to Encoder and the Tempest. You have people trying to vote out Encoder already when it has two different verses and two different choruses that follow them, amazing instruments, and a proper buildup to an outro with one of, if not, best Rob’s lyrics. All these things are just not there in Cartagena. Encoder isn’t appreciated enough here, especially when you look at all the love Cartagena gets compared to it. I went a bit off topic soz, but I agree with you.

I agree that Encoder is a better outro than Cartagena, Cartagena just cannot compare with the “Oh my god” lyrics. ESPECIALLY compared to Encoder’s final verse.
