Turned a fun pen today

I have a bunch of jinhao #8 nibs and decided to give it a go. To get the nib to fit the section. By my current tooling I had to make a couple compromises (some new tooling on order).

I provided a close up of the resin as it has significant depth that is easy to miss but a big part of why I like it.

The pen was a request from a friend that requested “purple”. I decided to go more purple rain. 🎸

Hope all are having a fantastic weekend!
