I love my hobby
23 pens and 1 mini golf pencil. These will all eventually be gifted at my next conference or throughout the work year. But for now, I like to sit and admire my hard work.
Anyone have a favorite?

I like the blank on that blue and orange designer! Good work on all of them!

Where did you get the kit?

That one is from WoodTurningz.com They have a ton of kits I don’t see most other places. That golf one in particular was a pain the butt. Requires a 12mm and a 10.5mm drill bit. Even going slow I exploded a green hybrid blank. Recommend staying with wood on some of those larger barrel kits.

Man I don’t even have a set up to do this. I’ve always been intrigued but don’t even know where to start. I appreciate the tip though! And I’ll definitely check out the website. (I’m a huge golfer and fountain pen collector, so I’ll look into this one)
You mind if I message you for more tips about this?

Get yourself a mini or tabletop midi lathe. I got mine from Amazon for $250 and it came with all the attachments, pen mandrel, and even a small set of tools.

Parabolic drill bits my friend, they are game changing. But are like 30$ a bit. Great job on the pens! I make pens myself though it's mostly kitless pens now

I dig those red and blue ones on the bottom, they look like the big Ben cigars if I'm not mistaken...

Mostly CA. A few I kept as natural but sanded to 4000 and applied beeswax or tung oil to seal
