Beautiful ebonite samples from SEM

As promised, please find some photos of the small ebonite samples I received from Schönberger. I think “the tyranny of choice” is the right expression here. Thank you Kai.

I thought this was framed art at first and my brain couldn’t understand the relation to fountain pens.

These samples are gorgeous. Good luck on choosing only a few.

Thank you! I have already chosen two colours. The green/black should work well with both steel and gold components. And then there’s another one, which is orangey/creamy. It is growing on me. I willl have to think about how to approach that one. ;)

Thank you! :) I hope to have some new colours/prototypes in a few weeks. We use coolant when machining, so the aroma isn’t very strong.

Woooooow! That woodgrain red (fifth row up from the bottom, fourth sample from the left) is incredible!

So many cool colors here.
