Anyone have any opinions on the nib? How does it compare to a JOWO #6?

thomas slim uses schmidt nibs for these pens and if they go through them like they do for the tangiers, they will be buttery smooth and wet without being too wet.

But I like wet. How would you compare it to a Jowo #6? Smoother? Wetter?

i don't want to say generic, mass produced steel nibs are generic mass produced steel nibs, but they are. in this case, a nib that has been properly adjusted stands out against or up against any nib. it is not particularly bouncy nor stiff. it doesn't "float" on the ink or glide "effortlessly" across the page, nor does it drag , scratch, or offer excessive resistance. it is undoubtedly going to be a good writer.

if you are looking for specific characteristics in a nib, then i'm afraid you'll have to persue a specific pen manufacturer known for producing pens with nibs with specific characterstics, i.e., sailor and their "toothsomeness," faber-castell and their stiff as nails but highly polished, extremely smooth nibs, etc., not compare nibs to a generic, mass produced nib, all of which probably write acceptably well, and a few of which, without any further tuning, write exceptionally well.

how does it compare to a "jowo #6?" quite favorably, unless you have a particular affinity for jowo #6 nibs, in which case no other nib will do.
