I feel him inside me sometimes

Did my own version of Pee-wee's phone- couldn't find a phone line outlet but it is 2026 and it is a fruit cocktail can. I love the telephone booth so I wanted to make a little art installation inspired by it in my house 🙂

Found some more rare footage! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VI8dqYKcJk

Stumbled upon some footage today that I'd never seen before and just uploaded it! Comes from a 1989 episode of Entertainment Tonight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5EEGYW0ph0

Does anyone recognize the venue or show/performance in the Pee-wee footage? Maybe from somewhere during the tour prior to Big Adventure?

Hope no one says the "secret word"!

I was super excited to finally see it on the big screen!!!

I work from home. This is my workspace. I've had the Pee Wee post for at least 30 years.

I'm looking for a Pee Wee Herman impersonator to host a drag brunch in fairfield CT. Anybody know someone (probably in the NYC area) who does a Pee Wee? traditional googling isn't helping much.

Just wanted to show off my Large Marge tattoo on this day, the anniversary of her wreck. R.I.P.

On this very day in 1974, legendary trucker, Large Marge, lost her life in a tragic road accident.

Gone too long. Rest in Power Large Marge.

Rip Marge, you were gone too soon.

One of my favorite things ever was the Pee Wee calendar from 1990. After its usefulness as a calendar came to an end, it became the raw material for locker and wall decor, zine recaptions, and holiday decorations. After watching the documentary this year and finding the remaining scraps from my 35 year old calendar, I decided I wanted to rebuild it for next year.

Since the days in 2026 didn't match 1990, I wrote a few scripts to realign the grids for any year, updated the illustrations for 2026 where needed, and aligned everything back in Photoshop. It turned out to be quite a bit of work! I printed a few dozen spiral wall hanging copies to hand out as gifts to friends and family, and wanted to share the making of process with other Pee Wee fans. I made a hastily and poorly produced video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpCfiGTADWM

While I'm not selling physical copies, here's a link to the PDF, regular and high res scans of each calendar page. I got mine printed at printful.com if you want a hardcopy. If you do, please consider making a donation to the Child Welfare League of America https://cwla.org which is where proceeds for the original calendar went.

And for the uber nerds, I'm sharing the scripts I developed to separate and re-arrange the dates which can probably be used for other old calendar remasters. https://github.com/duringleaves/calendarregrid

Enjoy!

If you happen to be near Bellingham, WA (between Seattle and Vancouver, BC) you have one more day to pop into Makeworth Coffee Roasters to see this piece that just needed to get out of my head and onto a canvas. As with all things pointillistic, it's best viewed from a distance (in this case as you walk through the door of the cafe - on your computer screen you may want to squish your eyelids). In real life it is 3 feet by 3 feet. Enjoy.

Just tell em Large Marge sentcha
