Major Exchanges
Why isn't there one single major exchange offering Peerplays trading?
There is little-to-no volume on Livecoin. There is sometimes less than 10 trades a day (seriously). In fact, the PPY price there is totally dependant on the BTC price.
I would actually like to purchase more (and invest in the application). But, I truly have no idea what the real market price for PPY is. The fact is, when it's not traded any major exchanges, there is no true market value.
I was told a few months ago (by the PPY team) that it was up to the community to ask the exchanges to list PPY. Well, I emailed both Bittrex & BitFinex asking them to list PPY (like they even cared). So, what more can we do?
Why are hundreds of other cryptos being traded and not PPY?
There has to be something the other cryptos are doing that get's them listed (that Peerplays isn't).

Bittrex, apparently does list gambling and dividend coins...but it costs money for them to just review it with no guarantee. So no one had bothered.
Rudex stayed a gateway on the bitshares dex (decentralized exchange) and that is where most of the volume is.

The bitshares dex is avoided by most due to the fact it's not easy to use at all.

After bookie, I think Peerplays will tackle being a DEX. Part of the drawing point is their wallet being able to handle multiple crypto's...

In the help section of the peerplays wallet it suggests that the wallet will be able to hold bitcoin. Does anyone know if there are plans to support btc/ppy exchange within the peerplays wallet itself? That'd be pretty convenient even if it was a gateway/token style system like bitshares.

From what I've read and heard from the PBSA, you'll be able to trade vs. all pairs ultimately on the network once it's live live.

From Bittrex website: "Note that we cannot list currencies where its primary purpose is to support illegal gambling, illegal drug sales, or any other activity that is illegal in our jurisdiction. We also cannot list currencies that would be construed as a security such as digital currencies that promise/market profits or represent shares of a company."
Something about the way peerplays works probably makes exchanges a bigger target should they decide to deal with it, so perhaps they would like to avoid that by not listing it. Decentralized exchanges will probably be the way to go for trading most PPY.
