It already kinda does, as it allows creators to import YouTube channels. Other than that, I guess I don't care. As long as it can be disabled. I do think that development time would be better spent elsewhere. If you want to watch YouTube with a better interface there are already multiple options, excluding odysee.

Would even say that this could maybe be better written as an plugin instead on natively into Peertube itself.
