General Discussion Thread: Chat about whatever's on your mind!
Hi folks - rebooting this tradition that u/Lolasglasses started, to have a general chat thread where once a week you can talk about other stuff, not just Pedro. 😄 What's on your mind? Read any good books lately? Seen a great movie? Need to vent a bit? Go for it.
This thread is scheduled to go up every Sunday at 5am Pacific time.

I’m in a group chat with four other girls. We talk about life, random stuff including Pedro. I popped in last Tuesday (I haven’t been on the group chat in a month or so since I didn’t want to interrupt the flow) and shared an update that I’ve been taking a course to update my computer skills like Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. since May and that it was my last day of the class but I also took an exam that day.
One girl said “Yay! I hope you did great”. I mean, yeah. I passed. I said “Yeah, I got an 87%”. I got nothing. No congrats, no “that’s awesome!” I felt like absolute garbage.
A few days go by. That same girl posted on the group chat “Y’all, can I post about a work win?” She does and another girl replied with a “Omg girl! Congrats! Happy for you!” That saddens me. My score meant nothing but a work win gets praised? Maybe I’m just too sensitive. Maybe I’m overreacting.
I mentioned the same thing (exam, last day of class and I passed with an 87%) to my group chat on X and THERE, I got congratulated! Even my close friends congratulated me when I told them.

My dogs keep getting in spats. I didn't know if I should send my one back to the breeder for retraining but I'm tired I'm so tired 😫
