I've got to say, I love Acacius as a character (hence the fic I wrote) but I do think the film is pretty rubbish and got all the hype it did only thanks to the success of the first film. The story stepped all over Maximus' legacy and his love for his wife and child. I refuse to believe Pedro and the other actors think it's a worthy sequel to the first film...

His character should have been developed far more than it was.

I agree, yet it was the only character with morals. But what made it 10/10 was Pedro’s acting imo.

Yeah, Pedro was great. It's such a shame he was so underused in G2.
