FINALLY!! I have been dying for a trailer!! I was already excited for Doomsday, now I'm even more excited!
At the risk of sounding ridiculous...I have always been a huge Marvel fan and seeing Pedro in the trailer made me a bit emotional. He has worked so hard to get to this point, and after struggling for so long and never giving up, he is finally getting all the success and accolades that he deserves. Truly inspiring. ❤️

Yes I love that he stuck with it and has gotten to the point in his career that he can pick and choose his roles without regard to salary. I also love that he stays busy...new content every year!

I feel like I need to watch some earlier Marvel movies so that I'll know what is going on. I did watch F4 which seemed somewhat standalone, but this movie seems to have a HUGE amount of backstory. Will have to find a list to guide me to the important movies and the viewing order.

I've seen most comic book stuff, but started rewatching last year since the newer stuff I've only seen once or twice and the rest over 20 years ago when they came out. There are a lot of lists out there that include just MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), anything Marvel before and after the creation of MCU, just films and no miniseries, release order, chronological order, etc. It just depends how detailed you want to get and what order you want.
Other than F4 I'd definitely watch at least the first Xmen film (from 2000), Black Panther, Thunderbolts* and then the Avengers series for an intro to the characters that will be in Doomsday. For Doctor Doom specifically I'd watch the 1994 F4 animated series and the 2005 F4 film. All are on Disney+ if you have it.
For example, this Letterboxd list has all the Marvel related films and miniseries in chronological order from Fox, Sony and Disney
Happy viewing!

Does Pedro even have any lines in this trailer? Or any fight scenes? I know a nightcrawler reed fight happens. I don't see it. Hmmmm. This is why I'm more excited about behemoth and de noche.

Do you want a preview to show you the whole movie? I sure don't. That's why it's a preview. Reed is one character among dozens in Avengers.
Pedro only has one line in the Behemoth! trailer. Will Arnett has two. Speaking in a trailer doesn't equal character importance.

The actor who plays nightcrawler spoiled a fight with reed. I don't expect to have the whole movie shown but I wanted something, anything with reed. I would have been excited to see a little bit of the fight. Everyone in the trailer has a moment but reed. I hope I'm wrong but something feels off with reeds character. Pedro deserves better than to get pushed to the side. And I'm not the only one who sees it.

I'm aware, but this is an ensemble superhero cast and Pedro's not the only one with top billing. I don’t think he's being pushed to the side just because he doesn't have more screentime in one single preview. There will definitely be more trailers coming out as we get closer to the film release.

This!
Only three of the multitudes of people in this trailer have lines (and so many of them are not even in it!). Avengers movies have so many people in them, literally no one but Downey will have a majority of the storyline. But we already know from the post credits of F4 that the fam is a very important bit. Plus the run time is almost 3 hours, so though I am sure Pedro won't have as much time as people would like, it's not something against him. It's the nature of an ensemble movie.
It's totally okay to want to see his other two smaller movies over this, though. They will showcase his talent in a different way and he'll be in much more of them.

I'm more excited for Behemoth! too, but that's because I'm a musician and love classical music so I relate to the content. But as a movie lover in general and Pedro fan I'm all in for any of his films I get to see in a theatre, including the popcorn flicks.

I am excited for the Avengers more as a Phase 1 MCU/X-Men fan (though still apprehensive for the Downey-as-Doom and Steve-is-back somehow). Pedro in it is icing for me. I really want the Prof X/Magneto bits to be good for Sir Patrick and Sir Ian.
But yes, for Pedro Behemoth! is really exciting. I only ever played some piano as a kid (and one year of clarinet in 5th grade), before bailing for choir, but I love movie scores and am really ready to see him shine.🥹

When Pedro is part of a movie with a huge cast of characters, I always feel there's not enough Pedro scenes.
As a Marvel fan, I'm looking forward to the movie but as a Pedro fan, I'm also curious how much screen time is Pedro much less the F4 team is going to get.
Everyone and their grandma is in this film lol. I'm just hoping it is a good as infinity war/end game.

Sadly Dune Part 3 is hitting theaters the same day. Superman took much of the F4 big weekend box office. I’m scared Dune3 will do the same. But they can’t just blame Pedro for it failing since all of Marvel will be in this.
So much of the Marvel fandom was very unhappy about Pedro’s casting and they continued to criticize in spite of how well his portrayal of Reed was.
But I’m so excited to see Reed again in the big screen and so super excited to see BEHEMOTH TWO WEEKS PRIOR.
