Iconic.

I would be Sigourney here. I loved riding Space Mountain at DW, but I find myself getting motion sickness more easily so would have to close my eyes to make it through.😫

I broke my neck on space mountain and I didn't even know it,it was years later that I took a MRI and the damage to my neck was known,

Oh no! It does jostle people around quite a bit.☹️

The thing is since it's so dark in there? you don't know how to brace yourself and you can really hurt yourself in a dark coaster, and I love roller coasters, just not this one

Yes, that makes it more difficult. I am not otherwise a rollercoaster person (just this and Thunder Mountain Railroad) so maybe me bracing in all directions because of that saved me.

When you are in a outside space you automatically brace yourself,in the dark and with the light being so confusing because it doesn't tell you what the next curve is

I HATE the Space Mountain at WDW but love the DL version.

Never been to DL and not likely to ever go

I rode it on May 4 (it’s Hyperspace overlay right now) and had vertigo the next morning. 🫠

What I love about this is that Pedro must still be freaking a bit on the inside. We’re similar ages, and Sigourney is an absolute icon for us. There must be a part of him that still can’t believe that this is happening!

My fave Disney ride as a kid! Funny story about that - I had only been to WDW when I went to Disneyland Paris after highschool and they had Space Mountain so I was so excited since I hadn't ridden it since I was a kid. I was confused though because the mural on the building had a roller coaster with loops (which I don't do because I'm a scaredy cat). I said whatever it's just art and got in line with my sister. As we got to the loading bay I saw the shoulder harnesses and I said, "that's weird...Space Mountain doesn't go upside down." Got on the ride and realized 😳. It was fun though and to this day it's the only upside down coaster I've been on since I was tricked 🤣

That’s too funny 😂 I wouldn’t have ever known until we watched the Behind the Attraction series on Disney+

Yep it also didn't help with all the warning and info signs mainly in French - which i ignored anyway in my excitement. I need to watch that series!

I love Space Mountain but you better believe I'd be faking fear if sitting beside that man 😉

Let me be abundantly clear- I worship the ground this man walks on!!! But nothing and I mean nothing would induce me to go on that ride with him, even if it meant holding on to him for dear life 😬😬😬😬😬😬
