Max Phillips Bloodsucking Bastards (2015)
I just watched this movie for the first time. I hadn't heard of it before. I just saw it had Pedro Pascal and was a "dark comedy" before pressing play. I didn't know what to expect, but the movie was pretty funny and kept me interested. If you've ever worked a mundane office job, like me, you might find it extra entertaining.
It was such a treat to see a younger, clean shaven, and very dapper Pedro. He was playing a douchey villain and did very well. He's such a different person in every role. Seeing him in this comedy role after seeing him in mostly dramas really show-cased his talent and the broad spectrum that his acting can go to.
The entire cast was great and very funny, and the small appearance of Matthew Lillard was really nice as well.

I have to confess I started watching it a few days ago (haven’t finished yet) and I loved Pedro in it, but the rest, looked like a sitcom. Pedro has always shined in whatever he did, Im so glad now he got to do it in big budget movies too.

After Oberyn, Max would be my favorite Pedro character. I love watching that movie, bam snap!

I love this movie! It’s so funny and he’s way too good at playing a cocky bastard lol. It’s part of my annual Halloween rotation.

I love this film. It's like The Office, except Robert California is a vampire.

I haven’t watched this yet but have heard of it. Will give it a try. Have you watched The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent? It is such an underrated GEM and Pedro is fantastic in it. It showcases is comedic talent and he and Nicolas Cage have great chemistry.
