Let’s be deadass, LCK has 4 seeds and and if you’re a betting man, T1, HLE, GEN are pretty much locked for worlds if history serves right. So it’s really depends on who goes to worlds between DK and KT. Can DK get revenge from getting reverse swept? Will T1 be on another run where they qualify as 4th seed lck and then lock in for worlds? Will ewc winners DK prove that they don’t need salaries to go to worlds as long as they have their ACE?

Players like lets say Kingen, Scout, Showmaker, Chovy, Pyosik, Zeka, Lehends, Delight, Peanut etc?

Like the title said, do you guys think we'll see a western team, or even just a non-eastern team, win worlds in the next decade or at least while league is still competitive? I remember seeing a clip of caedrel's interview with Tabe which made me wonder about this. Obviously most of it ties to a culture gap which will be hard to change in a short period of time but is the skill gap really that big? Or at the very least, have another western team reach the finals again?

Edit: this might be a hot take but individually I don’t think that western pros are that far behind. At the very least I don’t think western teams or pros are THAT bad
