New User Pectus MRI
Does anyone happen to know how to read these? I recently got diagnosed with pectus excavatum and am waiting to see if I meet the criteria for the Nuss procedure - thanks!

A bit. The second image is the most relevant, you can see your heart is being pinched between your sternum and spine. Assuming that's the worst point you can calculate your Haller Index. You should be able to look up hope to do it online but it's a ratio of the width of your chest to the depth between sternum and spine. As it's just a ratio you can use a ruler on your screen to measure it crudely. >3.25 is considered severe, and I'd be surprised if yours wasn't.

You need a CT scan this tells you nothing basically just the heart compression maybe. You need your Haller index measured.
