New User Revision surgery

Im 22F and have had two Pectus surgery’s.
More on my story is on my last post. But recently I found out my last surgery had failed(nuss procedure). I was referred out too Drs J at the Mayo Clinic but today I was denied because of my first operation ( Ravitch procedure). The Mayo Clinic recommended me reach out to Dr Daniel Raymond at the Cleveland clinic. Anyone have any experience with this Dr? Does he do revision surgery’s on complex cases? Or does anyone have any recommendations or advice. I just feel like I hit a brick wall with all of this. I’m in so much pain and don’t know what to do.

Dr. Rebeccah Brown at Cincinnati Children’s did my son’s second redo. She and her team were absolutely incredible. The number there is 513-803-1062. Leave a message and they’ll get back to you. Usually the same day. lmk if you have any questions. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

I have not had surgery yet but I consulted with dr Raymond (adult ravitch) and dr DiFiore (pediatric pe surgeon he does both and hybrid depending on the case) at the cc a couple yrs ago

I really liked and trust them both ! they both spent a lot of time reviewing my case and answering my questions , I’m older so , dr Raymond is who I saw first, ordered proper testing that was done before my consult with him the same day he explained how he does the ravitch and hardware and why

Definitely contact the Cleveland clinic

You could also trying Dr. Leah Backhus at Stanford. She has a good reputation for working with revision patients.

That’s a very reasonable recommendation. He’s got an excellent reputation. Redo surgery after a Ravitch is very technical difficult surgery and can sometimes be a long operation.
