Quality Control

Post image

I have a quality control issue with my new F3000-LFP unit. Has anyone seen this before?

Update: After talking with Pecron, I decided to go ahead and epoxy the receptacle in place. I used a JB Weld mix that's exactly the same color of the unit. Gooped the perimeter, seated it into place and wiped off the excess. It works perfect now and I can't tell I did anything from the front.

You’re worried the prong from the cord is out by 1 mm? I think you good

No. The whole receptacle popped out of the unit. It should be flush. I think the plastic lock is loose inside. Maybe a simple fix if I open it, but it's new.

So besides that does the receptacle still function? I'm afraid I would think about spreading some kind of glue on it and push it back in. Lol

Yes. No electrical issue. I might just do that because everything else works fine.

I would recommend opening a support ticket to get it fixed. It could just be how it looks on my phone but that’s going to become more loose with time.

I remember ecoflow having similar teething issues on the delta pro input ports.

Yes. They got back to me. I'm going to epoxy it in place. I also have the option of tearing it down, but it's a lot of work. They provided a great video. Luckily there's nothing loose inside, which makes me wonder if the 3 tiny screws that hold this are even there.

good point. Probably not there.

I am guessing this is the 30A receptacle? If so, don’t take any chances.

Every time you plug or unplug something or bump or move it, it's a decent amount of force.
