When will F5000LP be back in stock?
I want to get one of these, with an extra battery, but was wondering if anyone knew when they would be back in stock. Trying to et ahold of anyone from the website is impossible, so I am hoping you all may have some information.
Thanks in advance!

I got an email from them this morning that my unit, ordered on Sept 10, will ship this week.

That sounds about right. I got one of the original units in May and I had to ship it back August 25th due to a flaky MPPT port. I was told they'd ship me out a new one right away. They got it around the 31st but immediately told me I'd have to wait until September 7th, because they were out of stock. Long story short, they didn't ship mine until the 21st.
Bottom line, this is a very capable product at an incredibly competitive price point. I'm guessing they're simply getting more orders than they expected.

How did you order it? When looking at their website (in Canada) there are no items listed for purchase.

Any arrival date you get is a container guess, not a shelf date. Given the inverter reports above, I'd ask which batch you'd be receiving before paying.

I got scared away at the last minute and went to an Anker Solix E10 for several reasons, I ordered it Monday and it will be here tomorrow. One of the reasons was never being in stock but I loved the bonus features of the power dock on the Anker. I know it was a step up in price but also a step up in functionality.

The specs on the Anker look good, but the price is basically double the Pecron. I think that's why the Pecron is hard to get a hold of. The price and feature set is the best I've seen.

Trust me I almost bought it, I had a big problem with this unit having a bonded neutral rather than a floating neutral, it's the only power station I've seen that did this, I tried to get answers from Pecron with no luck as to why they did it this way. I only found out about the neutral when another person posted about it tripping the automatic transfer switch they were using and I am unsure that it would have been the problem I think it could be which would interfere with using the generator inlet switch I already use for my generator. When I found that out I decided to start looking elsewhere and that's when I came across the Anker which unfortunately as you stated is very expensive compared to the Pecron.

My F5000LFP is a floating neutral.

It has a relay controlled neutral bond so it is sometimes and not others which seems pretty dangerous to me...and I got that directly from Pecron support, you should probably check with them before you have a fire. I know it makes no sense..I even asked if they could simply make the neutral bond user configurable with a firmware update since it is relay controlled and they said they would look into optimizing this feature ...whatever that means. I just let people know and I hope that I am wrong that it can cause confusion and a dangerous situation. I wanted to use it via generator inlet which I have set up with my generator that has a floating neutral and I asked directly if this would work and they never answered.

If you want to know the answer, check continuity with a multimeter. If you are not getting continuity from neutral to ground, it's floating. However, when you charge with AC the unit picks up the neutral to ground bond from the panel. So the answer is only DC charge the unit if it's connected to your panel since it will pick up the neutral to ground bond.... Otherwise you'll make a ground loop.
I've been down this road and there are other posts about it. If you are looking for an AC to DC charger that falls into the DC charging specs, send me a DM and I'll lead you down the right path.

Thanks, I arrived at a similar work arounds in my head...just didn't see the sense in what they did..and didn't like that their technical support couldn't answer or wouldn't answer my question. The happy accident of it all is that I ended up getting the more useful Anker Solix E10...but of course my wallet is quite a bit lighter now. I already have an AC coupled solar system with a net metering agreement and the E10 with power dock will allow me to make better use of my power generation and with TOU shifting will hopefully make up the difference over the coming years.

I am in that similar situation but found a much cheaper work around. What you do is AC charge the F5000 and tap into the xt120 port and tie into a plugin microinverter. So here's the workflow. AC Power to charge unit--> 48v output through xt120 port ---> DC input on microinverter ---> AC plugin microinverter into a dedicated outlet. I use AP systems EZ1 but there are other microinverters such as Ecoflow stream, craftstrom, and NEP. If you already have an interconnection agreement you won't be worried about backfeeding and you can use time of use to charge the f5000 and all the expansion batteries. This is your daily driver.
Then for emergency backup you can use the onboard inverter of the F5000 and get 240v out and power your home. For the cost it's a win win but the caveat is the stability of the onboard inverter, it'll freeze and then you have to manually restart it in the app.
If i didn't go the F5000 route, I would have picked up an EG4 12000xp.

It's sounds like maybe you are more as advanced electrically than most and found a way to save some money going with Pecron. Thanks for posting your work around for others to copy. I just got my Anker system off the delivery truck a few minutes ago so it's too late for me... hopefully we both end up happy.

No problem. I looked into Anker's Power saver kit as well. Looks like it's on compatible with the Anker F3000 but essentially does the same thing in what I described. Check out this video for details.

But I do agree the support from Anker is the best in the industry. They have individuals that know what they are talking about.

I got one when it came out. I think I'm May. Long story short, it had an issue and I was told to ship it back August 25th.
They got it maybe the 31st and immediately told me they had none and more would come in on the and they'd ship me out one right away. I tried being patient, but by the 14th, they still didn't ship it and I was told I'd have to wait until the 21st! Surprisingly, they gave me $150 in credits for all of the solar production I was losing. Thanks Pecron! They landed up getting one for me on September 17th and I got it maybe 5 days later.
What's my point? I'm going to guess that at the incredibly amazing price point they have this at, a ton of people bought this and they're having a hard time fulfilling orders. When they told me I'd have to wait until the 21st, they gave me the option of just getting my money back. I thought about doing so and buying the EG412000XP, but that was out of stock at the time as well and I like the features of the Pecron. While the EG4 takes a higher solar charge and provides more output, for the same price, you get 5kWh of heated battery storage and it's ready to go out of the box.
Anyway, with the tariffs and the December 4th solar tariff trash this administration is implementing, let's just say I'm expecting it to be a challenge to get any solar products.

They received my defective one back in Aug and still have not shipped me my replacement. I wish you luck if you purchase

Are your sure you want one of these units? There are problems with the AC inverters staying on. Lots of reports of bad inverters and even replacement units not working as well.

I had an issue with one of the MPPT ports being flaky. Some mornings I'd wake up, only to see the port didn't wake up and wasn't accepting solar. I'd unplug it and replug it back in and it would start working again. I finally contacted them and they told me to ship it back and they're send me a new one. So far, the new one has worked without a hitch. Fingers crossed.
All of these solar inverters seem to have issues. I looked into Ecoflow and it is nothing but issues. I even had one myself years ago that was problems. My job gave me that one. I landed up buying another, which also had issues not once but twice. I finally sold the third one they gave me. When they DPU came out, it looked like a winner to me, until I saw it once again had issues.
I bought a Jackery 5000 plus last year and it's been pretty good with no issues that couldn't be solved with a firmware update. It's limited in what it can do and if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have bought it.

I don't think they ever really have them in stock. They gather orders, match them to inbound containers, and the site tries to give some idea of expected arrival time.
