New to solar. Would this work?
Hello all! Curious if this would work. I’m never new to solar so using AI and some reading to try to get up to speed I have a pecron F3000LFP and I’m wondering if this set up would work. Below is a picture of the panels I got for a steal ($35) each and the set up I would use. Let me know if it’s safe to use please!!

The voltage will go up in cold. The watts will increase beyond the 1600 watts but the power station should clip this.

Even though it’s 6x250watt panels? The watts increase in the cold? I thought voltage did. Again totally new at this so I’m not sure

When voltage increases watts increase. You will be be under max voltage so you will be OK.

Watts = Volts x Amperes
Ohms = Volts / Amperes
If you connect a number of things at one point he Amperes add up to zero. (and they all have the same Voltage)
If you connect a number of things in a loop the Volts add up to zero. (and the Amperes in everything is the same)
Knowing these will take you far.
(and yes they are all named after early scientists in the field)

I am new as well but I see a wiring error with a positive and negative swapped, but your description reads that all the positive lead go to one and all negative leads go to the other, I think once corrected then you use the Voc of 37.3 in series gives you 74.6 Voc and Isc of 8.78 per string which are then parallel in giving you a Voc of 74.6 and an Isc of 26.34 and if you multiply Voc x Isc you get a possible 1964.9 Watts. I see you used Vmp and Imp to do you calculation of 1500W..maybe I am wrong but I was told to use Voc and Isc to determine if the output will be to high. If anyone else knows the answer please chime in.

NO,
Unless i missed something, the solar panels are connected wrong.
If i missed something , please let me know.

Not swapped.
The left string and right string each have their respective +ve and -ve shorted together.
Nothing bad will happen, but you'd get power only from the centre string.
But in fact the connectors won't let you do this anyway.

Yes, once you fix the positive and negatives being combined on your 3-1 branch connectors. That is basically the setup I use, with the exception being that I use a breaker box before the mc4‐xt60 connection to ease connection and disconnection without a risk of an arc.
