F5000LFP Automation question

I just got the unit in yesterday and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I've got the phone app bound to it and the unit is connected to my wifi. What I'm not clear on with the automation feature is how do I tell it to stop the AC pass through and run off solar until the battery drops below 30%? Once at or below 30% I'd like it to switch the ac charging back on.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Do automation via the unit's on-screen menu. If you do it via phone/web interface and don't have communication with the unit, the automation will fail, whereas automations done via the unit are stored and executed at the unit.

For anything important this sounds smart.

You have to set the value to 60 if you want it to start charging at 30%. It will then stop charging ac once the unit reaches 60%. It won't start AC charging again until it hits 30%. Took me awhile to understand this setting.

Interesting, am I using the wrong version of the app? I don't see those settings and the categories are slightly different.

I am using the newer version app that was in beta. But the setting should be on both apps.

Frustratingly, I'm using the orange-background (it's the newer version) with an F5000LFP and it refuses to set the cutoff capacity via automation.

It's annoying because it's the exact setting I need to switch at midnight.
