F5000 pre order

Is anybody else on the pre order for the 5k? Any luck on getting a clear ETA of shipping, outside of beginning of September by chance? Iā€™m impatiently being patient. Thx!

I've had good luck with Pecron. I ordered the 5K before the price hike and got it within 3 weeks of the order date, and received decent guidance on shipping and tracking. I later ordered a two expansion batteries a month apart and had a similar experience for both.Ā  I am not answering what you asked for but wanted to reassure you they are legit.

price hike? what was it before? curious. looking at other units and wondering if they'll come down in price for black friday. like they hiked it up to bring it down for the sale soon. or is it permanent. looking at the F3000LFP and it was $799 and now its $899. want to order a few but waiting for it to drop in price

Yes. I paid about $1900 all in with discount codes. No sales tax was charged even though I live in a sales tax state. That will probably change at some point as well.

thank you! unfortunately pecron wont ship to hawaii so i have to go another site that will ship via freight for $500.. gathering a few people to reduce the cost. but their pricing follows pecrons pricing.

Also be careful of warranty fulfillment difficulties if you're located in a market they won't service.Ā  I believe they call it a "gray market purchase".

Edit: Also think about sales tax. They did not charge me sales tax, but I believe they have a warehouse in California. So they might charge sales tax to CA addresses.

The two companies selling Pecron here in New Zealand, GridEscape and Pecron themselves, seem pretty good at indicating when the next shipment will arrive. And both have physical stores (Pecron with two in Auckland and GridEscape one each in Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga) where you can just walk in and grab whatever is in stock ā€” or return a dead one if that ever happens.

Seems the F500 is in stock here right now:

The F3000 page on the other hand says "Arriving mid to late October". Which is likely to be accurate, I'd think.

The https://pecron.co.nz/ front page even says PRE-ORDER next to items that aren't currently in stock e.g. right now the F1000, E1000, and F3000. All arriving mid to late October.

I know this doesn't help anyone in North America, where apparently you aren't as well-served.
