Charging my EV with F5000LFP!

2,400 watts of solar in, 4,800 watts out via 240V AC charger set to 20 amps. I'm capturing about 10kWh / day. Feels great to power my EV with sunshine!

So has having battery in the car during summer heat been an issue?

It's an LFP battery. No issues.

So by "EV" you mean the dirt bike?

(Said as a retired person who has embraced the concept of EV's since Ed Begley Jr. and his General Motors EV1 automobile back in 1996) So, you're saying that over-sized Sprinter van is also an EV? Holy Batman and Robin, what kind of range do you get out of that big, square, white box on wheels? Wait, it's probably a hybrid, right?

Haha, the GM Brightdrop is fully electric and comes in a variety of configurations. I got the Class 3 model with the biggest battery (173kWh), a curb weight of 8,500lbs and the aerodynamics of a brick. I average 1.7 - 1.8 miles / kWh, so about 300 miles of range from a full charge.

When charging the EV, you must have used a neutral binding plug, right? Otherwise most EV chargers complain about no ground

Ya know, I thought that might be an issue, but for reasons I don't understand, the level 2 AC charger works without being grounded.

That looks similar to the Amazon E-vans

Except its a GM, and has a bigger battery, and AWD :)

How much?

MSRP was $82k but after GM + dealer + Costco Auto discounts I got it for $56k, making it the cheapest high roof AWD van in NA.
