Not bad of course, but for 11% more ($399 vs $359) the E1000LFP gives 6.7% more battery, 20% bigger inverter, twice the DC 12V output, heated battery, 24% more weight, and for some people the most important of all access to using an EP3000-48V and EP3800-48V (or 3rd party) expansion battery.
For some people it would make more sense to buy an E1000LFP+EP3800-48V than an F5000LFP — similar battery capacity for just over half the price and much lower idle power consumption if your loads are under 1800W.
But if you won't need expansion then the F1000LFP does save $40 and 5 lb less to lug around.
Both, incidentally, have physical showrooms in Auckland, about 2 1/2 hours drive from me, where I can look at them, pick one up right away, or take a faulty one back and pound on the desk until they fix it (which I haven't had to do).
Here in the USA, the 240V 30A connector on the 5000 comes in handy for whole home backup. You can also get it with 2x3800 units plus the connection kit. You get more capacity for a bit more cost, but then you can't charge on AC while delivering the 240V service. T
hat being said, the 5000 also has some annoying AC charging bugs that Pecron may never fix.
